Adam Hennessy
The Fitness Community is owned by Adam Hennessy. Adam has a keen interest in health and fitness from a young age as he competed in Kickboxing from the age of 11-19 and played football at a high level from the age of 8-17. Adam noticed from an early age the lack of gyms and education in health and fitness in the local area and envisioned a gym providing a community of like-minded people and the necessary skills it takes to obtain and maintain health/fitness and longevity. Adam Started his journey in Sallynoggin College where he got the necessary credentials and education it takes to develop the necessary education and skills including, QQI level 6 in nutrition, personal training, sport injury and rehabilitation and sport psychology to deliver high level health and fitness programming and knowledge. Adam has continually re-educated himself through courses from the leaders in the industry like his CSCS qualification (Certified strength and conditioning specialist), OPEX CCP based in Arizona, Bio force Conditioning by Joel Jamieson based in the USA and the science of nutrition through clean health and performance in Australia. Adam is one of the leaders in health and fitness programming and education from the area which can be seen by the clientele acquired by Adam.Trainer - responsible for creating individualized fitness plans and providing hands-on coaching and support to clients.

Maya
Group Fitness Instructor - leads group exercise classes and motivates participants to reach their fitness goals.
Hi my name is Maya and I've been working in the industry the last 7 years, but have been learning and training a lot longer. I started martial arts when I was 11 and strength and conditioning training when I was 12/13 and absolutely fell in love with the gym!
Coaching and educating is my greatest passion. My main goal as a coach is to educate my clients on the long term benefits of a balanced and healthy lifestyle. A balanced lifestyle outweighs a quick fix every time!
Training doesn't always have to be about losing weight or becoming the smallest version of yourself, which is 90% of what I see on social media giving a false representation as to what we should look like or how big/ small we should be. Training consistently and building healthy habits will set you up long term to improve your quality of life and longevity. That is why I do this, to educate and coach my clients into becoming the best version of themselves over a period of time, to fall in love with training and the consistent process of becoming 1% better each day!
